Three Kinds of Lightweight Charging Portals
There are basically only three kinds of backpacking chargers. Built in backpack with charge port is not that common simply because they’re a bit pricey. These backpacks usually come with a rechargeable built-in power bank and a standard micro cord. Most backpack with charge ports are made of nylon or some other extremely light, flexible material. This makes them very portable and allows the user to carry a multitude of devices with no problem.
The next kind of lightweight backpack with charge port is the laptop backpack. Laptop backpacks tend to be larger and heavier than built-in backpacks with charge ports. They’re designed to hold, and usually include a huge 15.6-inch touchscreen display, two USB ports, and maybe one more port. These are also very portable and can accommodate a notebook as well as an iPhone or a few other smaller electronics.
Finally, the third kind of lightweight charging port backpack is the vintage laptop backpack. These are sometimes referred to as “dorm bag” backpacks since they’re probably most often used for overnight trips to friends or places where you will likely need to stay overnight. Many of these backpacks have tiny compartment or zippered pockets on either side that are perfect for storing small items. Some even come with compartments to hold other accessories like a data cable, mobile phone charger, and an MP3 player.
